A Clean sweep by the Dark Knight in the People's Choice Awards

Dark Knigh” got away with every trophy it was nominated for Wednesday at the 35th annual fan-favorite CBS ceremony. TDK won five awards, including favorite cast, superhero, action movie and on-screen matchup for Christian Bale’s Batman and the late Heath Ledger’s Joker.

“On behalf of all of the cast from the movie, thank you very much to the fans,” said Bale. “Here’s to Heath.”

People might still view it basically as an action movie, even though most wouldn't agree and rarely have genuine action movies got anything from the oscars...

It's sad that TDK didn't get nominated for Oscars, if not best picture, screenplay or director. Anyways, fine, this is as good as it gets. Why do you think it was shunned?
