Weird place...

Some time ago I added the Google Analytics code to iBatman. It has been tracking the number of visitors, most popular search keywords, geographical location of visitors and so on...

As I did that just before the launch of TDK, the first week was quite interesting. For around one week iBatman had 700-800 visitors a day. After that the numbers stabilized on around 200-300. That might not seem a lot, but 90% of that traffic is new visitors, which by some standards is a good figure.

I was actually quite amazed by these figures. Where do all these people get here from? Well, apparently images.google.com. It seems that most of the new visitors came through google image search, probably looking for some new batman pics.

There's a reasonable amount of returning visitors as well. 10% of 7500-8000 visitors per month is quite good too. Thank you all!

Nevertheless it is obvious that iBatman is not going solo (buy out from Ning.com) any time soon. As some of you might know, the ads on the right are the property of Ning.com and all revenue is going to them.

BTW for some unknown reasons visits have been gradually raising over the past few days. Up to 30% as of today?! Internet is weird...
