Heath Ledger or Jack Nicholson????

I just wanna start one of the greatest debates ever. Since The Dark Knight came out I have been torn on this issue so I'd like to hear wut u think

i think Nicholson had something that Ledger didn't. Nicholson portrayed the Joker more to what he is supposed to be, don't get me wrong Ledger's Joker was amazing but he Nolan didn't write Ledger's Joker to be funny at all Nicholson had better writers even though he shouldn't have been the killer of Wayne's parents lol. They wrote Nicholson's Joker more true to the Comics I'd say.

I think that both of them did really amazing the role of The Joker :) But I think that Nicholson´s Joker was as funny as the Joker in the comics, and Ledger´s Joker was as cruel and phsyco as The Joker is in comics, so if an other actor would play the Joker in a movie, my suggestion will be that he should try to mix the work of this great actors

jack nicholson was a really great joker but in my opinion heath ledger did an amazing job. i think he was the best joker. the way he portrayed the character was outstanding.
